I'm living in the Euro zone wich makes Adsense quite unattractive. With a high Euro AdSense pays out poorly.
What do you think? Will Google lose business in Euroland?

It's hard to say. On the whole, I doubt it.
Adsense is pretty much the de facto standard in web advertising. Not to mention, with Google buying out certain other ad agencies any profit loss can probably be mitigated.
Is there any other major competitors to Google in Europe that will put forth a strong showing? _________________ MMO Gaming |

Google is almost a monopolist! There are definately no comparable competitors on the EU online advertizing market. Sad but true.
Personally I'll think about and ad stop when the Euro is over 2 USD. Then any return increase will be eaten up but the exchange loss.
Oh, Google charges Adwords in Euro! That means I pay 50% more for my ads as I would if I would live outside the Eurozone. _________________ Want to know me better? check out my blog www.baeronium.info |
