I trust Yahoo and no one else with my domain names! Yahoo automatically renews my names every year so I don't even think about it. They send me email notices, of course, but I don't have to take any action unless I want to cancel my domain.

I use Enom. They give you on a Domain by Domain choice whether or not they automatically renew. I like having control over which domain/service is renewed automatically.
