We have a group of 14 moderators and a special forum in which we discuss board-related issues. Every time I get a PM I need to share with the other moderators, I end up doing a screen shot and posting it as an attachment in a message, since nobody has access to the raw files. I feel I have spent my life doing screenshots of PMs lately. Is there a hack or something where I could forward PMs to the group? Or any other way to handle this?

I don't know of a hack, but in phpBB 3.0 you'll be able to carbon copy messages so you can send one PM that all your moderators can receive.

An idea, phpBB 3.0 isn't too far off, May may be our lucky month for a Release Candidate. Smile

I document any PMs that I need my moderators to see in our staff forums. I just post a copy of the PM (usually in Problem Users). Is there a reason you wouldn't want to do that?

Actually, I had a series of PMs last night and copied them all into Word and posted them as text. I just wish I could hit Forward and send the PMs to the Moderator's forum, like moving a post.

Ah. Yeah, I like posting them because of the posterity. Like I've looked back on PMs sent years earlier because I posted them, etc.

That would be handy for a lot of things, as would the carbon idea. Thanks!
