Hello.
I have finished modding the iCGstation theme I had on my forums for the second time. This time it was a serious modification. I changed the header completely and modded the index.

Webmaster Tips & Tricks

Looking forward to your help and tips. Thank you a lot Wink

Looks good to me. You could always delete the "Forum" part of the "%s Forum Index" so that it doesn't duplicate. I like how your ads seem to fit in, they blend, with the content. Theme is very inviting - nothing too fancy, very crisp.

Nice and crips looking forum. I like the "wtricks" logo and the colours blue and orange are excellent! Extra points for choosing one of my favourite colour combinations Very Happy

Also I've been crawling your site and your "Search engine tips" are really good. Keep up the good work!

Great looking site. It is nice to see a customized looking site and it it shows that you put some work into it, which I think people will respond to. It's a recipe for success.

My only nit pick is that the link to the foums wasn't prominent. You had a couple of them that I found (text links) but the best navigation at the top, nice looking buttons, didn't link to the forums. I'd maybe make the link stand out a bit more.

Thank you both for the replies Smile It means a lot after 20-30 hours of work Smile

Just made the main site after the forums theme (people usualy mod the forums to blend with the site, but I am always a weirdo Very Happy) and put a indexu directory in the theme .. took another 100 years, but I'm OK with it now ...

The problem is with my next redesign (I always get "ideas") .. would take a lot ... anyway .. am OK with it now .. need to work on the traffic more.

The links directory is quite good, nice and easy to use. Good job.

Thank you all for the good words Wink

I am trying to implement in the forums a left column with some interesting information. Am halfway through it though. And I have modified once again the tables. I wanted to not show moderators anymore *was taking up important space, and get rid of the topics/posts count column .. I have put it in a box in the main category cell.

Am trying to find some more ideas to customize the looks even more. Should you have some hints I would really appreciate the effort Smile

Again, many thanks Wink

Today I have changed the bars from grey to the blue-yellowish combination.

I have also put some gradients in row1, row2 and row3.

Please tell me if it's looking OK. Thank you in advance.
