Ive always found those sites that require like 25-50 posts to be kind of weird. Sure no ads is great, but 50 posts? Especially when alot of places have a very strict policy on what they consider "spam" (and rightfully so). I only require 2: An introduction post and the actual hosting request post. Then i just hope that theyre nice enough to keep coming back to post whenever.
For any one interested, you can read my ToS here

hostmyphpbb.com (I think that's it) seems to be ok, but the best way to go is buy space and do it all yourself. Siteburg.com looks good as far as free hosting - you get a subdomain name (yourname.siteburg.info I believe) and you can use FTP to do pretty much everything yourself. I can't remember if they even require ads on your site.
If you can get one of those free hosting deals worked out, freemysql.net will give you I think 3 free MySQL databases for the heck of it, and you can build three forums on one free hosting package. I almost used them but my host all of sudden decided to give all of us unlimited MySQL databases. (An answered prayer I think.) _________________ [The Smash Syndicate] Ek Pyros - Out of Fire |

| Try www.100webspace.com You can get the Free Account without Banners for $12.00 US a year(you are only paying to remove the BANNER ADS). That's only .99 cents US a month to remove the banners. |

| Actually not since they'll then be able to control the board the way they want instead of the way some free phpBB hoster wants. They can install the mods and themes they want. Also it's cheaper than $5.00 a month. |

No matter how low the price, it isnt free if you pay for it ^_<
I dont know, i just let people put optional links by to my site and tell them to tell their friends. As far as im concerned if youre required to put a link to someones site, (or ads) then youre still paying an obligation to them (no matter how small)
Stuff like that and the hosters that require like 50 quality posts before you get hosting annoy me. Why i made my own >_<
