Not if they dont use search engines to find you ^_^

My traffic is driven in by signature links and me outputting of content on other sites that links back to my site.

I doubt many people (besides myself) search for my site in search engines. The only time that my site is diriectly searched is when i do it to figure out who is using my premod and how those sites are doing.

Would it be better if i did care alot about seo? Probably. Would it help in proportion of the energy id have to put into it to make it work? Likely not ^_^

My thing is, people come even though I dont care all that much about seo, my concentration lies in keeping those that I do have coming back for more. Only so much energy to spend, so it needs to be done as efficiently as possible.

This being said though, I come up first in msn if you search various terms >_< Google doesnt like me so much though.

Google hates me so to speak.

But I was surprised by the number of people who actually visited my site as a result of a search. My stats trackign tool "Awstats" shows the keywords people entered to find my site and it was quite interesting.

I'm not saying that one should go OUT Of their way for Search Engine optimization, but submissions to a few popular directories always help improve traffic!

BTW, I too get most traffic from signature links and stuff...

I would suggest to submit your links also to other forums.
It quite effective as long as there are a lot of active members and your links would not against the forum rules.
