|
|
Does anyone have an idea of how often google pagerank updates occur. I have over 40 inbound links with a page rank of 0. when I search my site on google using the link: prefix i.e link:www.mydomain.com I get absolutely nothing, where I should be getting hundreds of returns.
The googlebot spiders my site multiple times a day, so I know I'm not banned. The question therefore must be, when does the next pagerank update occur? |

ROUGHLY and very roughly every 3 months, of course, Google do whatever the hell they want to do whenever the hell they want to do it, so, I wouldn't hold your breath.
The next update is supposedly happening or going to happen very soon, but, this is all guess work, until it changes, there is no use getting worked up about it. |
so the last one that you recall was in October? |

It was updated recently, my site, (in my sig) is now on page rank 6/10, beating a lot of sites which are better than mine!

I think it's changed twice in the last 5 weeks. One of my sites (Buckeyes 24/7) was a 3/10. Then for about 2 weeks it was a 0/10. About 2 weeks ago it changed back to 3/10. Not sure. _________________ Ohio State Buckeyes Forums |

When I type in my URL I'm the only one, but when I type in "Truestar Forums" all my profiles from multiple sites pop up, which I suppose it beter than nothing.
I want to get to the point where if someone types in "Ghost Recon" I'm somewhere on the top three pages. That may never happen, or take forever. _________________ Truestar
