I decided to post this topic here, but it may as well also fit in another forum.

Anyway, I redesigned my phpBB admin panel a few months ago to fit the growing needs of my site, as well as the zillion add-ons I use.

I was wondering if anyone else has done this too.

Here is a screenshot: http://macgui.com/gallery/showphoto.php?pic_id=492

Here are some highlights of it:
- No frames!

- Enhanced forum stats

- user sessions tracked via absolute URL

- various utilities for managing my pseudo cron systems for avatar processing and web activation

- PlatinumSecure. Now, I won't go into detail about this, but let's just say that one needs more than just an admin account to get into my admin panel!

LOL, I was just going to do this and start it tonight actually, ironic how this topic popped up. Laughing

So I technically haven't yet, but I plan to soon. Our clan has 5 Generals and they need an admin panel thats not so confusing lol.

So its something I plan on doing, I don't think adding new admin pages are too difficult. Smile

That looks nice! Smile I haven't. I'm just so busy. The admin panel is something that only I see. As long as it works like I need it to work, I don't really care what it looks like (as long as it's not hurting my eyes, etc.). Smile

Mt reasoning is absolutely the reverse of yours! Smile I see the admin panel so much on my site, I wanted something functional as well as stream-lined.

I haven't but I've often thought about it. For something that so few people would see though I didn't feel the time investment would be worth it.

That's not the point though. I needed something that better suited my site, looks were a low priority.

I don't have the time to do this, but I think it's a nice idea. I have too many clients now to even work on my forums, no chance to start such a big change.
