I might try to install this on one of my sites on the weekend but I dont see the need (for me at least) to have the HTML page so I will get back to you with how it all goes when done.

I've been meaning to add something like this to my sites, but never had time to find/create the code for it. So thanks for posting that Patrick; it'll help me out too. Very Happy

If you look at my site in my signature youll see a similar rendiition to patricks, but with three jumpboxes. Ive also added a forumnetwork box that i hand modded into the index_body.tpl. What fun that is let me tell you.

My mind isn't functioning normally at this late hour so this may be a stupid question: where do I put what code so that the bar appears on every page (overall_header.tpl?). I'm doing it on a phpbb site.

I created a simple network bar that takes minimal installation and is available for download at http://www.phpbbhacks.com/download/6540

The beauty of this one is that the links all open in new windows so it keeps your visitors at your main site as well.

The way that I include it in phpBB is with the eXtreme Styles Hack.

Ok, so I installed XS, but now what? I guess that's where I'm stuck...

eXtreme Styles Hack allows you to add php includes into overall_header.tpl, so the code above should work in that file.
