I have looked over the forum but didn't see my question.

Basicly i have been asked if i can setup a forum in phpbb I don't have any experience in running this board what i need to know is if i can set up a user with admin rights but will not be able to lock me out of the forum....so they need access to the admin console.

What i have seen from testing is as soon as i give then rights they are able to change passwords and even delete my account how can i stop this from happening.

If you're installing the board yourself, you should apply one of these hacks and make sure you're the first admin on there:
http://www.phpbbhacks.com/download/3528 or http://www.phpbbhacks.com/download/939 or
http://www.phpbbhacks.com/download/355
Check them all out before you decide.

So you don't have FTP access to the forum files?

You will find that you have FTP access so you can add/remove/mod what ever you like on your site.

One of my hosts also has Automatic scripts and then I go through ftp to copy them to my computer so that I can work on them.
