Thank you for visiting CommunityAdmins.com.
I am thinking of creating a new feature at our sister site, ManagingCommunities.com - a video chat. If you have a moment, I am looking for some feedback on this idea. Here is a description:

I'm looking for some feedback on an idea that I am kicking around. It was inspired by Darren Rowse's improptu live chat sessions on Ustream.tv. He appears through streaming video while people in the room chat and ask him questions. I was thinking that I could do something like that here, periodically.
I could have a channel on Ustream.tv and then, at a set time, could host an event on the site where I was on camera (I just bought myself a nice, new webcam) and then anyone in the room could ask their community/forums management related questions and I'd do my best to answer them. Would you be interested in it?

It definitely sounds like something I'd be interested in seeing. How often would it be? Once a week? Every other week? Once a month?

| It sounds pretty cool, it would be nice to bounce around questions and ideas in a true real time format like that. |

Cool. I am not sure. No more than once a week. I think we may just set it as a one time thing, see what the response is... and maybe play it by ear from there.
