Is there a certain moderator to member ratio that any of you follow? Do you have certain intervals of how many members you'd need before you would consider adding an additional moderator? _________________ [The Smash Syndicate] Ek Pyros - Out of Fire |

Well, I really base it on how active the members are. If I set a ratio of 1:50 (Mod to user), and those 50 members were inactive/active, then that would be just right. But if I had 50 members who were really active, the ratio might increase a bit.
My ratio is pretty much set to 1 Moderator to every 75 users. _________________ Truestar

I base it on the amount of time that a post may be "lingering" in my forum when it should have been removed. For instance, if something inappropriate was posted at 7:00 AM one day and it wasn't removed till, say 8:00 PM that day, I would consider that a bad turn around and would probably think of adding a new mod or two with a schedule that would allow them to be active when I may not be. _________________ MMO Gaming |
