Hey,
I'm bought my domain and would like to upload what I have. But seeing as the URL will change should there be any issues as I import my MySQL backup file, and if so what do I need to do?
Thanks,

Everything went okay except for a missing Admin Panel link. I will be posting at phpbbhacks.com for a possible quicker answer.

Actually, I'll try that to see if it helps. Everything was fine except for the admn panel link.
Thanks Nick, I forgot the tutorials were there. _________________ Truestar

Well, it was quick, but now when I try to log in it redirects me to some page somewhere completely different.
Would it be my domain hosting, or webhosting? _________________ Truestar

I will be using yourdomain.com as an example and assume that phpbb is installed at PHPBB directory.
Try digging into the database itself using phpMyAdmin. Look for the config table and browse it, usually phpbb_config. Check that
COOKIE_DOMAIN has the value "yourdomain.com".
COOKIE_PATH has a value of "/"
SERVER_NAME has a value of "yourdomain.com"
SCRIPT_PATH has a value of "/PHPBB/"
*omit the quotes
I hope this helps. _________________ Super Tech Tips
