Is anyone able to explain why page generation time is as slow as it is ?
I have just installed the Page generation hack by smartor to check the loading times on Galahs Corner and this is the result on the Index page.

Yet on another of my forums on the same server I get this result for a lot more queries.

Thanks for any tips you may give that will lead to a much faster laoding time.

I have improved the loading times considerably now by removing the Trend Micro virus scan link which was a javascript in the overall_header.tpl
It now loads at

gotta watch the flash and javascript.
Alot of people think its great to have a flash banner, but they dont consider the loading times. Others are in love with javascript (myself included) and if you arent careful with what you put on there, youll end up with bad loads.
