I am one that has a total dislike for the ACP because it is far to complicated.
They should have made it as simple as possible to keep down the amount of work for an Admin. _________________ ~HG~

I have placed it in a test folder in my forums. I think it's the second version beta. AWESOME script. Very nice features, halucinating admin panel. Can't wait for the new script to get into a stable release and maybe have an importer from the 2.0.x series. And then they'll surely kick some major competition. _________________ Webmaster articles, tutorials and topics |

1) where can I download beta2 (or whatever beta release it is now) so I can try it in my site?
2) let's say it comes out today... full thing....how long until mods are updated for full 3.0 standard? |

1) area51.phpbb.com, look for the CVS scroll down and look for the bold printed BETA.
2) No one can answer that, not even the MOD authors. It takes time to upgrade and it's completely new code. Besides people have lives and can't dedicate a whole month to upgrading their MOD's. However, some of the major MOD's are expected to be out shortly after phpBB goes Gold. _________________ Truestar

It takes time. Hard to say how much. Could be right after, could take months, could never. Although, with popular hacks, that is less likely. |
you must have some hacks in your sites, which one has the most? and how many?
one site I have for a client has about 33 of them...oh dear sweet fish will I suffer updating that client's side. |
