I am really new to this phpbb thing. I just started a new gaming community and don't exactly know how to get a lot of members. When I look for FREE LINK EXCHANGE sites, I find ones where it takes about 5 days for them to link back to me just to say that my site isnt popular enough. If anyone can please help me get my site going I will put all of the sites they want onto my LINKS page. Please help, I've been trying for a week now and can't find ANYTHING.

Hey there,

Creating a new forum isn't easy. Getting traffic, is even harder. Free link exchanges are good but not enough. Try submitting your site to directories, find button exchanges, and post on forums. Try being an active member on 5 large communities and stick your link in your signature. Not only do you get to be a part of that forum, you might get some traffic also. This requires being a positive contributor though.
