Hi Im new here,

Im just wondering if anyone as heard of 'Power Over Wireless' the transfer of electricity to things such as cell phones without a cable. It works similar to the electric toothbrush!!!

Anyone heard of it??

I have heard of it, just this week! I don't know how it works but it seems like it would be kinda scary. I mean, VOLTAGE just flowing through the air. Sounds shocking Wink

As for the electric toothbrush, mine uses rechargeable batteries, not phantom power of the ether, lol.

I think this is the most developed example I have seen - I wonder if Tokyo University have a patent out on it?

According to an article on the BBC site Wireless Energy is beginning to take off.

It also has a name WiTricity, pretty cool concept when they make it safe
