Eya people!
I would like to have some oppinions about my website... good or bad ones, just give them hehe...

I worked hard on it, entering at least 60 hacks I think, and edited a lot myself...
The problem is only, no one wants (?) to post on my board, so what do I do wrong?
If this continous I am quiting this whole website I think hehe...
I know the concept isn't very original, but always wanted such a website.... don't know why Smile

Well please let me know if I can make something of this or I'd better quite...!

The first thing that caught me was the nice logo. Good job.

Does the link to the "Cpanel" have to be displayed in the main page? Its only for the owners and you probably could type it in (if its not too long) each time as its better for security and other reasons.

Also, I was searching for a link to the forums at the top along with "CPanel", "Search" etc. so putting a Forum link there would make it more handy for new comers to enter into your forums.

The theme looks original and neat, but the gradient heading lines on the tables stops halfway through, is this intentional or a bug?

The number of forums is a bit too large and I suggest you could combine a few forums into one to show more posts/replies to make it seem more active than it currently is. Later on you can always make new forums.

BTW, I never understood the main theme of your site. What is it about? YOu have a large number of general category boards, music boards etc. Don't assume everyone knows what "ownageworld" will tell them what the site is about. If it's a general discussion site, include it along with the logo...

Overall a very good start.

Are phpBBboards/ websites easy to hack? I thought I could better add it, so you can reach it from every page....

I dont had the time to change it, but will be layover images (I think) with also links to forum etc! Good comment!

Where do they stop? What resolution do you use? I could make it longer if people notice this, but I dont notice it.... you meant this one, right?

So true! I made subforums, and now bringing some under others... so it will look more crowded, with less forums! Thnx!

I want to have a fun page which links to funny websites/ articles as main page... It's essentially a "funwebsite" with lots of flashgames etc... but trying to make more categories so that there is more for everyone... but dont have the time to run/ update it all... so it's a strange mix now, and may be quite unclear (heard it before...)

Regarding the gradient, yes that was the one. But my apologies, I think it was a browser problem on my side.

I have no idea how easy phpBB is to hack (but i heard it was easy enough) and in any case you should (I think) be able to make those tiny changes (like adding Forum links/removing cPanel etc.) without much problems.

Your idea is good, but in anycase you could (along with your logo perhaps) give a one-line description of your site so new comers will know exactly what it is...

Good luck.

I dont like the hacking part Sad bit scary hehe... you know how I could prevent those things from happening? Extra securety or something?

Thnx for the comments... Have to think about the one-line description though... It's hard to put my website "in a box" because it (should) contain a lot! And I dont like some trivial one-liner like "fun for all" ... I will see Wink

You know a nice liner by any chance? Or someone else?
I appreciate the comments!

I don't think Teckno is referring to hacking as in getting past security but hacking as in modifying the code in the files that run phpBB.
