Looking for a couple of opinions on the forum style I am working on for my un-launched site.

http://www.shatteredsphere.net/forums/

Anyway, some obvious things: the phpBB logo will be removed, there are a few errors with the style on different browsers (which I will fix), etc. My main question is should I continue developing the style or should I scrap it and start over?

Thanks.

EDIT - Forgot to link to the forums directly Smile

If you're gonna have the forums stretch for all of the page, you should either have a top image that spans the entire page, or fade it in like the one of this board.

I don't like having the pages stretched, I find it odd for the eyes to read something right up against the side of my browser.

On the note of code, you seem to have two unclosed td tags and four unclosed tr tags.

Finally, I don't care for how your category headers don't have vertical borders... if you border up all four sides of the enclosing table, you should enclose all of the header row too. Smile

Yeah, I plan on changing the logo at the top obviously, I just changed the default colors on the phpBB logo as a placeholder until I am ready to launch.

Moved it in a bit, better? or push it farther in?

Where at (genearlly, doesn't have to be specific)?

Triumvirate, it's obviously a work in progress, but it looks quite good the way it's shaping up. I'd be interested in seeing your template completed along with the logo as well. Being a dark theme, I'd like to see brighter link colours and text, though. Forum links are currently brown which gives a very poor contrast against a black background.

The top menu bar looks quite cool and the forum graphically looks very stylish too. I think a few image and colour adjustments are required though to just get that "finished" look and feel.

The top bar is very nice, but the link colours are way too dark. Otherwise looks decent.

Any color preferences for links, (family of colors, doesn't have to be exact). Blue, green, red, yellow etc.?

Maybe a light blue for the forum links. The blue on the "Shattered Sphere Forum Index" link would be good.

Changed around a few links colors (main forum links are now the light blue), and fixed a couple of other things. More readable now?
