And yes I know, not everything is finished. This was an old CGI template a friend of mine once created, and I'm modifying it to work for phpBB.

I would say that is much too bright. I'd suggest that you use a lighter, softer blue.

I like the blue actually but I feel the brightness comes from the black background.
A softer background would I think, give it a better effect.
